About Me.

I write because creativity is the most reliable way I know to make people shut up and pay attention when everything else fails. When words get talked over or ignored, art steps in and says, no, you’re listening now. It’s how I communicate without interruption—whether that means reading, watching, or sitting with something longer than expected.

Long term, my goal is to open a café that doubles as a learning center for people who may not have the financial resources . A place where creative skills are taught, real projects are built, and the work they produce can be sold to help fund their education. Not everyone has the resources to afford school, but everyone deserves the chance to create, express themselves, and turn that creativity into something sustainable.

Creativity shouldn’t be a luxury. It should be a door—and preferably one that’s actually unlocked.

Education

2025-Current

MA: Public Relations
Full Sail University

I’m currently working on my master’s in Public Relations so I can communicate more clearly with people, even though I’m naturally pretty antisocial. It’s helping me learn how to explain my ideas, connect with an audience, and step outside my own head when it matters.

2023-2025

BFA: Creative Writing
Full Sail University

I earned my BFA in Creative Writing from Full Sail University, where I spent an alarming amount of time writing, revising, and learning how to take feedback without taking it personally. The program sharpened my storytelling, character development, and narrative structure, while teaching me the discipline required to actually finish what I start.

Corporate Compliance Manager
ESS

I’ve worked as a corporate compliance manager, balancing the practical side of rules and regulations with the creative side of messaging and brand. It taught me how to communicate clearly, stay organized under pressure, and make sure nothing important falls through the cracks—even when things get complicated.

side note

I’ve been working since 2014 in a variety of roles, collecting skills like digital design, advertising, marketing, analytics, data entry, labor modules, and storytelling along the way. I’ll spare you the full résumé, but the short version is this: I’ve learned how to adapt quickly, communicate clearly, and keep things running without making it anyone else’s problem.
